EBBEN Partners also offers its experience in the form of trainings. Both public and in-house. Our partners and experts have extensive experience with giving training, including: in-house, public and business schools. With this, we go back to the many cases from our varied practice. Case studies make it easy to transfer knowledge and learn skills. The link to the theory, however, should not be missed.’
EBBEN Academy does not have the ambition to compete with the universities that try to improve managers and supervisors of listed companies in the marketplace. EBBEN Partners focuses, with merely one exception, on the market of middle-management, and members of the works council.
The exception concerns the field in which EBBEN Partners has extensive expertise, namely: integrity. EBBEN Partners will hold a master class: “Directors and supervisors, you can enjoy a good night’s rest.” With a professional dose of integrity in the organization, in combination with the presence of delicate measurement instruments, you as director and supervisor do not come to stand for integrity mishaps. And you can enjoy a good night’s sleep.
In the master class the participants will learn, among other things, how an integrity policy must be prepared. This masterclass can also be provided in-house to the management team – in the presence of one or more members of the Executive Board / Supervisory Board.
In the Summer School FRM we share our experience with you on the development and implementation of effective anti-fraud policies. In advance you will receive the textbook “Summer School FRM” to be studied in preparation.
The Summer School FRM is based on the international standard ‘Managing the Business Risk of Fraud’ which was developed by ACFE, AICPA and IIA. This guideline is closely tied to, among other things, the COSO2 and the IIA practice guide “Internal auditing and fraud”. These documents are provided during the program as well.
The Summer School FRM is structured around a major fraud case. Participants are guided with the development of the case in five steps: (1) Fraud risk governance (2) Fraud risk assessment (3) Fraud prevention (4) Fraud detection (5) Fraud response.
Tell me and I will forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I will learn
(Chinese proverb)
Upon completion of the Summer School FRM, you will be able to independently design and implement a sound fraud risk management system. Additionally, you will understand the operation, importance, and interrelation of the building blocks.

he works council (OR) has much in common with the subject of integrity. The OR has an interest in a culture where integrity is present at a high level. During incidents, the OR often plays a role. And from within the advisory function the council can stimulate the management and /or counseling.
But …… .. if there is one concept that people can get a difficult grasp of, it is integrity. A subject that has enough to be busy for two days. A training seminar that yields money for the organization!
The seminar is intended for one OR, i.e. a small company with the possibility to discuss confidential case histories. Can be either in-house, or at an external location. In preparation, there will be a discussion with the chair of the OR.
Fees € 3.000 (excluding accommodation)

Legal risks are not the property of the legal experts’
Thinking in terms of risk is inherent in the work of legal experts. Concepts of enterprise risk management, such as the systematics of COSO, lines of defense, the distinction between strategic and operational risks, and the recognition of environmental factors such as the culture of the organization all add tools with which legal experts can carry out their work effectively. A training for general counsel, internal company lawyer and corporate law attorneys.
Systematic legal risk management, in line with the risk management system applied by the organization, has the following advantages:
The training is suitable for general counsel, internal company lawyers and business law attorneys who want to better understand their clients. The curriculum is largely interactive. An individual intake interview with each participant will take place – by phone- to align the program to better meet the needs of the participants. Participants bring forth practical situations from which the participants will then work out a plan of approach (proposal, analysis, and action plan).
